WEST CAMPUS BUILDS ON FOUNDATION OF COMMUNITY
INVOLVEMENT, A STELLAR TEAM AND WORLD-CLASS PATIENT CARE

Sharing the energy and vitality of the com-
                                         munity surrounding it, Texas Children’s
Hospital West Campus has been growing
at a phenomenal rate since it opened its
doors in  — and it’s not about to stop.

                                              An ambitious  million expansion
project will add new capabilities and serv-
ices, as well as fresh opportunities for the
                                         quickly growing volunteer staff.

                                              “The community is incredibly sup-
portive of our hospital, but our team —
including the volunteers — is what truly
sets us apart,” says Chanda Cashen Chacón,
West Campus president. The senior lead-
ership team includes Dr. Jeanine Graf,
chief medical officer, and Dr. Allen Mile-
                                         wicz, chief surgical officer.

West Campus was created to respond
to the growing need for expert pediatric
health care in West Houston, one of the
fastest growing areas in the nation. It was
                                         greater Houston’s first suburban hospital
designed exclusively for children, and fam-
ilies are drawn by the expert care they expect
                                         from Texas Children’s Hospital coupled
                                         with a convenient location.
