Pavilion for Women Continue developing comprehensive women’s Ob/Gyn and perinatal programs that are widely recognized for excellent patient care (family-centered maternity care) while meeting the goals of the scheduled opening, and working to achieve positive operational performance.
Nationally Recognized Surgery Program Continue developing the surgical department, building strong, high-quality, nationally recognized programs across the surgical pediatric subspecialties.

100% Health Coverage Continue building strategies to achieve 100% health coverage in order to improve the health status and outcomes of Houston’s pediatric community.

Research Strategic Growth - funding Continue the strategic growth of research, discovering cures, and transforming care across Pediatrics, Surgery, and women’s Ob/Gyn.
Guidelines & Criteria Establish guidelines, criteria, metrics and dashboards to effectively allocate resources and monitor performance.

Development Goal Continue work on the Heal Sick Children campaign to meet the $500 million goal.
Financial Strength Ensure a financially strong Texas Children’s organization by managing to the margin in order to support our vision and mission.
Health Care Reform Partnering with the Harris County Hospital District, begin implementation of the Medicaid 1115 Waiver in our region which would include the planning of a Regional Health Partnership that will benefit underserved pediatric and Ob/Gyn patients as well as offset Medicaid financial shortfalls of Texas Children’s.
